PORCELAIN DENTAL VENEER
There are 3 types: metal supported porcelain, zirconium and e-max. Although their construction methods are approximately the same in the patient’s mouth, they differ from each other in terms of their aesthetic properties. E-max and zirconium coatings are more aesthetic and closer to natural teeth than metal-supported porcelains. For this reason, e-max or zirconium is preferred especially in front tooth coatings. Metal-supported porcelains are more suitable for use on back teeth where there is no aesthetic concern.
